Tronoh Social Concern Centre
The Tronoh Social Concern Centre was initiated with a fund raising dinner held in Dec 2016 at a restaurant in Menglembu. The present premises was formerly a church. The congregation shifted to Batu Gajah Lutheran Church in 2016 following a streamline exercise to optimise manpower of the church ministry. As the premises was no longer in use, it was converted into a social concern centre.
The land area of the Centre is about 16,000 sq feet (100x160ft) and it is located at the end of the main road of Tronoh Town. The construction of the building started in late 2017 and it was completed in early 2018. The premises is now well equipped with the necessary facilities to house 15 male residents in the first phase of its development. The second phase will cater to female residents.
The Centre officially opened on 12nd July 2019.
